The Volunteen Program at Owensboro Health will be accepting applications April 1–10, 2026!

Applications are open to teens ages 14–17.

Looking for a meaningful way to spend part of your summer? Join the Volunteen Program and make a difference while gaining real-world experience! As a Volunteen, you’ll have a fun and rewarding summer helping others, learning about Owensboro Health and exploring exciting career and volunteer opportunities.

Volunteens enjoy a wide variety of assignments in both clinical and non-clinical areas, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how Owensboro Health serves our community. The program runs from June through the end of July, with flexible schedules to fit your summer plans. Every Volunteen is supported and supervised by friendly, knowledgeable Owensboro Health team members.
