    Request a Colon Cancer Screening

    Did you know colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable and most treatable cancers when detected early? Yet today, it remains the leading cause of cancer‑related death among adults under 50. That’s why regular screening is so important.

    Current guidelines recommend that adults begin colorectal cancer screening at age 45. A screening colonoscopy doesn’t just find cancer; it can prevent it by detecting and removing polyps before they become dangerous. Screening also helps identify cancer early, when treatment options are most effective.

    If your screening results are normal and you are not considered high‑risk, you may only need a colonoscopy once every 10 years. Getting screened could save your life.

    This screening is for patients who are 45 to 75 years old.

    Which type of screening are you interested in?

    This is the gold standard and the most accurate method. It checks the entire colon, and the doctor can remove polyps during the test. If the results are normal, most people only need this test once every 10 years.

    This is an option if you are at average risk and choose not to have a colonoscopy. The test is done at home and returned by mail. It is completed every 3 years. If the result is positive, a colonoscopy will be needed.
