A Bone Density (DEXA) Scan is a non-invasive test that measures bone mineral density to access if a person is at risk of osteoporosis or fracture.

Guidelines for Bone Density (DEXA) Scan:

• A DEXA scan can only be completed every two years.
• A physician order is required

A screening mammogram is a low-dose X-ray examination of a woman's breast used to detect breast cancer in women who have no signs of breast cancer. Screening mammograms are recommended on a routine basis, every 1-2 years.

Guidelines for Screening Mammograms

• Please do not schedule your mammogram between the time of your first COVID-19 vaccine and four weeks after your second COVID-19 vaccine.
• Must be one year and one day since last mammogram
• Patient must be at least 40 years of age
• A physician order is required
• This page is not for scheduling diagnostic mammograms
